BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Cash bond trading in the interbank bond market dropped in October, data from the People's Bank of China showed.
In October, the turnover hit 10.5 trillion yuan (about 1.6 trillion U.S. dollars), averaging 620.25 billion yuan daily, down 30.2 percent year on year and 39.33 percent month on month.
The turnover of cash bond trading on the stock exchange bond market was 2.1 trillion yuan, averaging 133.41 billion yuan daily, up 321.68 percent year on year and 89.2 percent month on month.
At the end of October, the ChinaBond Interbank Aggregate Index stood at 201.8, up 0.7 points from the end of the previous month.
