HAMBURG, Germany: Airbus is looking to expand in-flight connectivity options through a new satellite partnership with Amazon, as the aerospace giant pushes forward with its digital services strategy.
Airbus said this week it had signed a provisional deal with Amazon to provide airlines with connectivity via the tech giant's planned Kuiper satellite constellation.
The plan to enhance Airbus' High Bandwidth Connectivity Plus programme was announced at a major cabin interiors exhibition in Hamburg.
